How do I create an account?
Download the Couplr app from the Play Store or App Store. Sign up using your mobile number with OTP verification and provide basic details to set up your account. The process is quick and will be completed within 3 minutes.
Why do I need to verify my mobile number with OTP?
A valid mobile number ensures authenticity, reduces fake accounts, and helps maintain a secure platform. Rest assured, this number will not be displayed publicly anywhere in the app.
What information do I need to provide during signup?
You’ll need to enter your mobile number, name, gender, date of birth, marital status, sexual orientation, relationship goal, academic and professional background, current location, and a unique profile ID.
Why do you ask for personal details?
We use this information to help you find matches based on shared interests, background, and compatibility. It also helps filter out irrelevant profiles. After signup, you may be asked for more details to improve your experience.
Is my personal data secure?
Yes, your data is only visible to verified users. Your mobile number will never be shown publicly. We prioritize security—check our Privacy Policy for details.
How does the app use my information?
Your data helps us provide accurate match recommendations. Read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information.
Why is ID proof required?
To keep the platform genuine, we recommend submitting a government-authorized ID for verification. Your ID is used only for verification and is never shared publicly.When you delete your account, this ID and all your data will be completely erased.
Profile & Settings
How do I edit my details?
Go to your profile and tap Edit Profile below your picture. You can update most details instantly. However, date of birth and gender cannot be changed after signup.
Is a profile photo mandatory?
Yes. A photo helps make a strong first impression. You can upload more images later for better engagement. All photos are screenshot protected and cannot be downloaded.
Can I hide my real name?
Yes. You create a unique profile ID during signup, which is visible instead of your real name.
Can I change my profile ID?
Yes, but only once every 90 days. Your previous IDs will remain stored.
Who can see my profile?
Only ID-verified members can view your profile. If you block someone, they won’t be able to see it.
What are my login credentials?
Your registered mobile number and the password you created during the signup process are used for login.
Is my mobile number visible to others?
No, your number is used only for OTP verification and login.
How do I reset my password?
Go to Account Settings in the Account Centre inside your profile and select Change Password.
Can I change my login mobile number?
Yes, go to Account Settings and update your number. The change will require approval from the Couplr verification team and may take 24-48 hours to process.
Photos, Videos & Hashtags
Do I need to add a description or music to my photos?
No, but adding a caption and background music can make your photos more engaging.
Why should I use hashtags?
Hashtags help your profile and posts appear in relevant searches. Use tags related to your job, interests, location, or physical attributes to boost visibility in search results.
How do I upload a video reel?
Go to your profile and tap Upload. You can add videos up to 60 seconds in both vertical and horizontal formats.
Finding Matches & Interacting
How do I find a match?
Complete your profile with a great photo. Verify your ID for better visibility. Explore the feed, check profiles, and interact. Start chatting or send an Invite for a connection.
How do I interact with others?
Like or comment on posts. Engage with Snaps (status updates). Join Communities for group discussions. Send direct messages.
How do likes, comments, and replies work?
When a user posts a photo, video, Snap, or story, it appears in the feed. You can: Like, comment, and reply. Change or delete comments anytime. Report inappropriate comments.
What is the Invite feature?
You can invite someone for a relationship, marriage, dating, or friendship. They can accept, decline, or suggest a different relationship goal. You will receive response status updates in your profile analytics.
Exclusive Features
What is Swift?
A premium section showcasing verified members. Only premium users can access it.
What is Select?
A customized profile section based on your preference filters. You’ll only see profiles that match your set criteria.
What is Snap?
A temporary status update (image or video) that lasts 24 hours.
What is Story?
A microblogging feature where you can post thoughts and receive comments.
How do I see who visited my profile?
Go to Account Centre > Account Analytics to see visitor details.
Can I undo marking someone as ‘Not Interested’?
Yes, go to Account Centre > Not Interested List and restore the profile.
Can I see the profiles I’ve visited?
Yes, check Visited Profiles in the Account Centre.
Do I get profile analytics?
Yes, detailed insights are available in Account Analytics.
Chat & Premium Membership
How do I start a chat?
Free users can send an initial message to any of their favorites. Premium users can chat without restrictions.
Can I message someone without Premium?
Yes, but with limited access.
What are the benefits of Premium?
Unlimited profile views & insights. Unlimited likes, comments, and chats. Send unlimited invites. Direct customer support. Get full analytics on your profile and interactions.
Payments & Offers
How do I make a payment?
India: UPI, debit/credit cards. Global: Google Pay (Play Store), Apple Pay (App Store).
Are payments refundable?
No. Payments are non-refundable. Check our Terms of Use for details.
How can I get discounts?
Earn bonus points by completing your profile. Look for promo codes in the feed.
What are referral points?

Privacy & Safety
How do I block someone?
Go to their profile, tap Menu > Block. They won’t see your profile or posts.
How do I report a profile, post, or comment?
Use the Report option available on profiles, posts, and comments. Reports are reviewed, and necessary actions are taken.
How can I get help from the Customer Care Team?
You can find the Customer Support option in the main menu on your feed. There, you can send a message or attach an image for assistance. Our team will respond within a day. Premium members receive dedicated support for faster responses.
